Professional tree planters at work. A project called "Trees for the Blanco" is arranged through the non-profit Treefolks and is coordinated with Hays County to reforest the river bottom after so many old trees were lost in the 2015 flood. Landowners can sign up for free trees, including Bald Cypress and other riparian species.
