  • Flock of geese flying north
 
  • treated two Fire Ant mounds on River Trail with 'Orange Guard'

Caretakers note: 

Non-toxic fire ant treatments can be hard to find. If available, we use Orange Guard- it is a liquid that is mixed with water and poured around the perimeter and into the mound. It leaves a pleasant scent  so that the area can be used right away.

  • saw a large Rock Squirrel run under the deck at the bluff on the steps to the river

  • saw 25 sparrows at new feeding area using Finch Festival seed mix from Audubon
  • saw unusual moth

  • Three Turkeys wandered off towards to man made pond on our arrival.
  • Many deer at feeding area
  • Agarita flower in bloom
