  • We had a freeze overnight
  • Saw 10 Deer
  • Saw Tom Turkeys
  • Saw a Skunk
  • Fed Mealworms to Carolina and Bewick Wrens, Orange-crowned Warblers and Rock Squirrels
  • Saw a feral Cat cowering in the thunderstorm

  • Fished dead Raccoon out from under porch and took to Vulture Gultch

Large flock of 100 White-winged Doves scatter in a flurry when startled.

  • Added water to pond at hay barn
  • Began plan for water line
  • Refreshed Hummingbird feeders

  • Installed (2) Wren bird houses, (1) at back porch and (1) at pole barn
  • Watered Cedar Elms along road (left the water on slow drip for two days)
  • Saw Various Butterflies including Dogface, Orange Sulphur, Checkered White, Sleepy Orange, Checkered Skipper, Juniper Hairstreak and Black Swallowtail and saw hudreds of bees on Rosemary bush in full bloom.
