Continued maintenance along river trail, removed some rag weed over hanging trail.

• Installed purple martin house, 12 units, gourd style, played martin songs, saw some martins looking . Worried about butterfly garden too close to Martin house. Will observe in Feb. 06 when Martins return
• Installed new bird feeder near house
• Maintained river trail with weed eater to clear trail

• Army worms defoliating mountain laurels on north side of house
• Removed Genista caterpillar Uresiphita
• Thistle with beetle battling another bug
• Found Dobson fly at river on steps male adult from larvae called hellgramite
