• Removed invasive pond plant from man-made pond with tranfer water pump, sprayed the muck from the bottom of the pond onto high ground around the land.

• Began removing deep sticky muck from the bottom of man-made pond and also removed invasive non-native water plants. Water and muck was sprayed onto high ground away from the pond drainage area.
• Saw Eastern Phoebe returning to nesting site on the back porch.

• The first meaningful rain in more than 6 months, 2.6 inches! There was no visible run off. It had been dry for so long that the rain soaked into the ground.
