  • Saw 2 Crows flying overhead
  • Saw Great Blue Heron
  • Saw Cardinals, titmouse, chickadee, woodpecker
  • Saw Rock Squirrel
  • Saw frogs in pond
  • Continued to remove KR grass - 2 large bags
  • Removed barbed wire from fence for Deer safety
  • Cut Junipers out from under Oaks surviving in Oak Wilt World

  • Frogs returned to the pond - they must have been out in the rain
  • Removed 1 large bag of KR grass
  • Re-seeded with Buffalo and native grass 50 square feet around house
  • Rescued some nice grasses
  • Made berm to direct rain water out of polebarn
  • Repaired leaky water line to pond for frogs
  • Recycled trapped lime sand for berms

  • Removed barbed wire and replaced with non-barbed wire on fence especially at Deer crossings
  • Saw Skunk and Raccoons sharing dog food bowl
  • Removed 1 large bag of KR grass around house

Pulled invasive K.R. grass to make way for native grass seeds

  • Beefed up stick dam at draw
  • Beefed up berm with dirt before draw crosses the road
  • Added speed bumps near gate to divert rain water into field
  • Removed Striped flag pond plant
  • Now only native plant species in pond
  • Saw Skunk eating dogfood with Raccoons

  • Refreshed all Hummingbird feeders
  • Removed invasive pond plants
  • Added water to pond
  • Removed Ragweed at river bottom
  • Saw Swanflower seed pod
  • Saw 2 Skunks at feeding area
  • local dog came for a visit
  • Fed Raccoons dog food
  • Removed invasive KR grass from front yard
  • Cut dead branches from Junipers
  • Began dirt catchers for man-made pond

Juniper branches are arranged to create a dam
