Hay Barn Pond with Bushy Bluestem grasses

Caretakers use a water hose with a very slow drip to keep the water full in the pond. 

It is tied down to an old Juniper stump to keep it in place.

Frostweed ice crystal- this plant is named for this feature that cocurs in a deep freeze, when the water inside the stem of the plant freezes and expresses in interseting ice shapes.
