•  Refreshed all Hummingbird feeders
• removed dead brush under Junipers around house
• not a lot of Hummingbirds, 15 seem to favor the feeders on the back porch

•  removed and mowed overgrown clover in front yard, over-seeded and watered in Buffalo Grass seed and Oklahoma/Texas Roadside Mix (from Native American Seed)

•  Shot one female Brown-headed Cowbird
• cut branches of dead trees over driveway
• Saw Lesser Goldfinch feeding youngsters with wings wagging
• Saw young Rock Squirrels exploring
• lots of fish and tadpoles in pond

predator control:

• shot one male Brown-headed Cowbird
• shot two female Brown-headed Cowbirds

habitat management:

• Cut Ashe Junipers from under Cedar Elms
• made "deer proof fence" with cut Ashe Juniper stumps

Census:

• Saw four young Rock Squirrels
