This sick and injured Porcupine was first noticed July 23. It took time to make a good plan to capture it so it could be taken to the Willdife Rehabilitation place. To capture the sick Porcupine, 2 caretakers used a large heavy duty fishing net to drop over the top of it. Then it was scooped inside a large lightweight trash can. All of this happend around midnight so we made a place on the porch for it to stay overnight.
